SHE'S MINE TO TAME

Darkmoon pack was an old pack, and it was never a tired old pack when I first knew it. In rainy weather the pack streets turned to orange slops; grass grew on the sidewalks with butterflies, hovering around it, the pack house stood in the square. Somehow, it was Colder then: Some few wolves suffered on a summer's day; bony mules hitched to Hoover carts flicked flies in the sweltering shade of the live oaks in the pack. The pack People moved fast then. They ambled across the different pack territories, shuffled in and out of the stores around it, took their time about everything.

A day was twenty-four hours long but seemed longer. There was no hurry, for there were places to go, things to buy and enough money to buy it with, and a lot of things to see outside the boundaries of Darkmoon pack.

But it was a time of vague optimism for some of the people: Darkmoon pack had recently been told that it had nothing to fear but fear itself.

The story revolves around a young girl who experiences shunning and punishment at the alpha's hands in Darkmoon pack.

It is set in a suburb of Atlanta, GA in the 2022.
