Brisa is a Seeker. Blessed by the gods, her power allows her to see into another person's soul, into their very memories. After tales of a fallen queen and a grand betrayal began spreading, a war erupted across Averyllis, shattering the region's peace and starting a hunt against the Seekers. Now, seven years later, Brisa has been sent into the very land that once sought the Seekers' lives. As the new prince fights to gain favor and secure the throne, Brisa soon discovers the royal family's secrets run deeper than anyone truly knows. In a region where the land's magic is fading and where fear rises as whispers of another hunt has started spreading, Brisa realizes the past she once was thought to be buried, has never been truly forgotten-and the truth behind it all, lies hidden in the memories only she can see. And a single question remains: Is gaining that truth worth what will be lost?
