Trees flew past me in my peripheral vision as I raced through this unknown forest. I was running; but from what? I have no idea. I woke up in a panic in the middle of a giant wooded area. The last thing I remembered was going on a jog last night in a park near my home. I was now being chased by someone or something.
My breath came out in short bursts as my legs began to feel useless underneath me. I let out a short scream as my foot caught a root and I came crashing down a small hill. Before I had even stopped rolling, something had me pinned. I saw giant teeth coming at my face right before I passed out.All Rights Reserved

I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.
