Logan Severide continues on with her life as a mother of one crazy son, Shay. With  a pandemic hitting Chicago like nothing before, Logan and Kelly re- think the way they have to raise their son, especially when the death of George Floyd divdes Chicago in two when cops shoot before they ask. When Mark Fuller, an old friend of Logan returns out of nowhere, Logan tries to figure out where he's been the last year and a half of her life. With Kelly and her son by her side, Logan realizes that maybe it's time for an addition to the Severide family.
