In the near future, a brand new piece of technology is released that allows players to control their very own created avatars in a whole new world - experiencing all of the senses as if they were really there. This tech is known as: Nerve Gear.
This machinery will influence not only the nature of virtual reality, but society as a whole. However, a sudden piece of technology that has such control over your body comes with risks, and the Creator's intentions may not be pure... what awaits the oblivious users and how will this affect the future?
In such a dark and dreary world, one has to take up arms and fight for something more than themselves. Homura Raijin, with a righteous will and perhaps a little too forthright, shall guide her people until the end.
