Dane has always been Mr. Chill.  His friends think of him as the centered, calm, even kind of guy.  He plays the piano.  Bakes on the weekends.  Does good in school.  Always follows the rules.  Everyone relies on him for comfort and support, knowing he is the poster boy for common sense no matter what the situation.

But...

Really, he has a past.  And it's not pretty.  Well, it IS smoking hot but he's not proud of it.  And now that his past has come to walk the halls of his high school, his image as the boring but safe nerd is crumbling all around him.

This is part two of Best Friends.  It will make far more sense if you read that book first.  The description sounds kind of moody and dark, but actually, honestly, it's going to be funny.
