I thought making the Shining but adding my own twist to it would be cool. The only difference is that Danny has a sister now named Victoria. The Shining is about a father (Jack Torrance) who gets a job as a winter caretaker at the Overlook hotel in Colorado. He takes his family with him but as it progresses something posses Jack and puts the whole family in danger. I did not write the original book. It was written by Stephen King and the movie was directed by Stanley Kubrick. This story is going to be more of the movies plot.
