What would you do if you suddenly felt sympathy for your worst enemy? Or what if they save you from being killed? This is the story of Roman, a broke college student who's side job is being a superhero, his main job working at a pharmacy trying to make ends meet, but after he was saved from his worst enemy, he was left feeling like something was missing, it also left him exploring his sexuality.
What would you do if you'd just saved your worst enemy? This is also the story of Janus, a charming villain whose side job is working at a vet as a cover-up, but after accidentally saving his worst enemy out of instinct, he was left with questions, but he also saw a great opportunity. Will he manipulate his enemy's heart, or will he fall in love unexpectedly and grow a bond with him?

M'kay. So you know choose your own adventure books? Basically at the end of each chapter you can comment on a line to vote for choices that will impact the story (example: Do they chase after someone or let them go in favour of doing something else). These choices will impact the story, development of characters, and even who lives or dies. You will have no information about what these choices will do beyond what the characters know, much like in if you were in their situation. This is a au, (I love aus so so so much) in which they have powers. Not saying who, what, when, where, or why yet and unless you make the choices that lead to discovery you simply won't find out. Some things WILL happen, regardless of choices (for example, if choice A lead you to meeting Patton and choice B lead you to Logan, You would still meet both, but the one who is voted for will be a more significant character, but it will be fairly equal) early on in the story choices may appear twice, allowing a second chance to discover that character/event/info, and choices will be fairly obvious (ie, Patton at a dog park, Logan at a Library) but as stakes get higher it gets harder. Can you discover the truth and keep everyone alive? I have a main story so updates will be infrequent. Which choice will be decided when I write the next chapter based off who has the most votes at the time. But.... Romans PTSD is acting up and he keeps freaking out. Remus keeps thinking about the past and its catching up to him. Logan is terrified with the news of his parents deaths, knowing it was murder and someone was out to get his family. Patton tries to keep his smile but being back at the school doesn't make anything easier. Virgil...he's terrified of everything and everyone. Janus, he's still terrified of bugs. Virgil Anxiety Black was in his room recovering from a panic attack when the castle is stormed. His best friend, Remus Lucious, has just enough time to help him escape before throwing himself back into the battle in an effort to save his boyfriend and Virgil's brother, Crown Prince Janus. Virgil finds himself running through the woods and unknowingly crosses the border between his kingdom and the kingdom next door. There Virgil is found by Crown Prince Roman, Remus's semi-long not exactly lost twin. Not recognizing Virgil as royalty and only seeing the garbs that show him as a citizen of another kingdom Roman does what he thinks is best. He gives the poor boy a panic attack while simultaneously arresting him and throwing him in the dungeons. While Roman recruits the help of his two best friends to help him figure out who Virgil is and why he's in their territory Virgil is rightfully panicking over the recent events. After a few hurt feelings and a couple death stares the Light Realm learns what transpired next door. In an effort to help both kingdoms Roman's and Virgil (now acting King Virgil) make a truce and put aside their differences. Roman and his two friends, Marquess Patton and Lord Logan, join Virgil in this epic quest to save their brothers, and the Dark Realm kingdom. Like any great tale this book is filled with Fear! Love! Virgil is the source of Thomas's anxiety so that means he was treated differently. Patton and Logan didn't mind his presence as long as he doesn't hurt Thomas or be too harsh. Roman is a different story he didn't like Virgil as much as the others did so he'd often start the fights. What happens if he starts to find out what's wrong with the rain cloud? Will he give him mercy and apologize? Or will he suffer the harsh consequences for his actions? Romance is in the air for them both what happens next??? Virgil, the love of Prince Roman's life got banished. Three years later the Light Sides and The Dark Sides go into war. They see each other again and back come the feelings although Virgil pushes him away. Both want peace, both want love. Can't this be happily ever after? Longer blurb- Prince Roman fell in love with a commoner, Virgil Sanders. He knew it was a bad idea but he couldn't help it. When his parents, the King and Queen of the Light Kingdom, found out they banished Virgil, sending him to the Dark Kingdom. When the Lightsides and the Darksides go back into war, Roman and Virgil see each other again after two years. Neither had forgotten and they only want each other back, how can they save both kingdoms and get each other? Patton, Roman's younger brother gets pulled into a plan. Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. Reptile - Janus Angst
This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Logan, Roman, Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders. I don't know what ships will be in this or if there even will be any, but I'm assuming I'll end up adding either Moceit, Loceit, or Roceit.
