Tommy didn't want his life to end, not like this, he still had so much to live for, right? As Dream struck his final blow, Tommy felt, warm. He felt a calm warmness surrounding him. He even felt, at peace.
The story itself is kinda fast paced and cringe. This is not canon what-so-ever and takes place about a couple months after Dream escapes, when he threatens to revive Tommy over and over again. Also this story is quite a bit darker than the actual Dream SMP and contains things like underage drinking and graphic gore. You've been warned. :)
Also this is a Ghostinnit story.

Then, with the certainty of someone stating a fact as simple as the sky being blue, he answered. "You shine like the sun." Tommy blinked. He let out a short, incredulous laugh-half-broken, half-breathless. "I'm literally the worst fucking person you could pick to care about." "And yet, I do." OR Tommy is the lost prince, kidnapped at 5 and left at 10. But he's a menace and decides it's a smart idea to steal a crown from the royal family.

Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. After a war that has gone for centuries, King Philza of Zariya decides to invite his enemy kingdom to sign a peace treaty. But it would only make sense if that King brought his own son to see Zariya. Beautiful friendship blossoms between Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo as they conspire in secret. They don't know exactly what happened that night, but they know for sure there was foul play. King Philza and his eldest son, Wilbur, immediately jump to conclusions and accuse the Kingdom of Fremoor for committing theft of a sacred artifact. Now, it's a race against time. The three princes must find the courage and bravery to do the impossible to save their home and possibly, all of humanity. Wilbur is only months away from being crowned king... but is that what he truly wants? Tommy is the youngest of the family. Always looked down upon. If only there was something he could do to show everyone that he deserves as much praise as his family. Tubbo, the charismatic fellow who sometimes feels like his role of middle child is a little to literal. He dreams of greater things. Sure, being a prince and living in comfort was amazing.
