She groaned internally realising Jace just might be the most reasonable candidate left. Please don't be poor Jace, the kid gets enough hell. She'd obviously have to beat his ass if it was him but he seemed quite a nice guy and she'd hate to have to hurt him. Then again, she accepted. He might be a bloody stalker. The bell rang aloud and her chest slammed heavily. This was it. She was about to know who the stalker was. Her feet couldn't move fast enough as Amber at her side asked what the big rush was. Lilien blew her off lightly as her feet slammed down the hall and she creaked into the rickety metal chair. Come on, who is it? Seats filled around her as the early people found their way to class and awaited the teacher's arrival. Mr. Gilroy was on time as usual and already standing at the board, scribbling away for the day's instruction. More seats filled as time slowly began to run out before the tardy bell rang. Every seat except two was filled and the anticipation was slowly becoming anxiety as Lilien scanned the door. What if the stalker had caught on and was ditching class to avoid detection? Impossible, she thought desperately, I didn't take my phone to the therapy session or breathe a word about my plan at all. There's no way that he knows. Two students slipped in late and the time was up. She suddenly was struck with the realisation that NONE of the three boys were in her last period class. Lilien's mind started to ache suddenly as she tried to understand what was happening. Nobody had all four classes with her. Maybe they had her b day? No, they have to have all eight classes with me. Her heart sank as she tried to understand what was happening. Oh. All too soon the reality of it struck her and she felt her head go fuzzy. There were no boys who had all eight classes with her. My stalker had to be a girl.

Nolan, an unapproachable guy who ignores the existence of all his schoolmates, sleeps in all of his classes. Normally, this wouldn't be Chelsea Arnold's problem-she does her best to pay attention in class and attends gym like a good, normal student. Unfortunately, she just so happens to be his assigned desk partner in many classes. She's frequently forced to wake him in English class and ends up earning the unofficial title of Nolan's Wake-up Alarm-a title that nobody in the entire school covets. The last thing she wants is to interact with him more than she absolutely has to. One day, their gym teacher sends her to bring him back to class, which he always skips for some reason. When she accidentally shines her flashlight in his sleeping face, it triggers a chain of events that gradually intertwines their lives together. It's hard to be a normal student when you start befriending the school oddball. It doesn't help that he has more secrets than the Big Ben has stairs. ----- Complete.
