Mayflies: Tales of the End

On the second Wednesday of May 2026, at 3pm Eastern Time, and for 25 seconds, the whole world heard the Call. Awake or asleep, everywhere around the world, everyone above the age of 7 heard the same message.
And it was a short clear message, in a language everyone understood: "life is born out of death, and the time has come for a rebirth. In death, you answer the call of life, and in 30 days, all shall answer."
The following are detailed accounts of 30 people from around the world. For 30 days, their perceptions of their experiences, lifestyles, cultures, and aspirations are challenged, or otherwise overturned, upon their sudden confrontation with the promise of globale annihilation.
