When 16 year old Marcy struggles her way through life, she has to deal with the crule side affect of depression. Her 18 year old brother, Eric tries to make her feel comfortable during all of the confusion that has happened in her life.
Eric loves for his sister when a new guy Kyle leaps into her life, Eric's brotherly skills come in handy. Kyle, age 17, is a school jock. The typical acting jerk who knows how to throw a football. Although he hasn't shown it, Kyle has had a 'thing' for Marcy every since the fourth grade. She's never even known his existence, usually it's the other way around, right? Well, not this love story.
When Marcy finally proves to Eric that she can handle herself, he decided to finally let her free. She has to 'Learn to Fly'
