In a world where people can imbue what they make with life, Jota struggles to find his place as a Lifesmith. His companion, Crum, a small golem type creature he made, doesn't seem to stand up to the creations of others of Jotas age. One day, he meets an old lady who has knowledge about long lost techniques, and begins to study under her. Can he really live up to his dream of a world where Lifesmiths and Constructs can live together in harmony, or will his studying and fighting end up falling short?
