Magicfolk had coexisted with humans once, back when magic had still existed. They lived in harmony, using their gifts to help the humans. But, the humans were greedy. They took and took and eventually the Magicfolk started losing their magic. The humans felt cheated and angry, and they attacked. Millions of Magicfolk died and their numbers dwindled. The elders decided to build a city, a city in the sky that humans couldn't access that they called Koreth. A safe haven for Magicfolk. At first, very few Magicfolk went to the city. They didn't go until they were forced by the humans during the Great Purge. During the Purge, millions of Magicfolk were killed and the rest were forced out of their homes. The adults were forced to flee, leaving behind their children.
Felix was five years old when the Great Purge happened and his parents left to Koreth, leaving him and his siblings behind. He and his siblings weren't the only Magicfolk children to be left behind either. He was joined by the children of his parents' best friends, who were Felix's best friends. When they were old enough to survive the journey to Koreth, they created a crew of adventurers with one common mission. Find the Lost City of Koreth and find their parents. But it seems as if every force in the universe is trying to stop them. They'll stop at nothing to get home, and along the way, they learn that strength isn't the most important thing.
