LOVE AND LIGHT

when Devon found himself Inlove with the man who murdered his parents ,he was caught in an eternal battle between his head and his heart .
At this point he knew that what ever decision he ended up making would still hurt him as much as the other would have .

young Devon called as he slowly came down the stairs ,at age 12 he already had his senses very alert and he knew something was wrong .
when he finally arrived at the stairs he heard two gun shots that made him stop in his tracks and Asif something hit him he began running to the living room as fast as his little legs could let him ,his parents now on the floor lifeless and drenched in their own blood ,how mom's lifeless eyes open .

The last thing he saw was light green eyes staring at him with what looked like pity but was fast replaced with a hard frown .
