My Awful Melodrama

Despite the allure of a new country, a new home, and new people, Kotura Tsukino was not thrilled. In fact, she dreaded the move from her home in Kyoto, Japan to some place in Oregon, a state in the US. She had no idea however, how much her life would begin to change in just one summer.

Starting off his summer with new guests was stressful enough for Jace Hills, but having to live with them for the whole summer was going to be absolutely agonizing. Kotura's cold and callous nature was already proving to be insufferable, but as he's forced to spend more time with them, he'll have no other choice but to confront some newfound feelings.

Hailey Sanchez wants nothing but for everybody to get along, but it seems with this new group of friends, that her desires was pretty much impossible. Not to mention that her long-term crush and best friend Mariah, doesn't seem to look at her the same way she's looked at her for years. Amongst all the chaos, bickering, and mayhem Hailey wonders if her love will ever be requited.
