Escaping Fate

Sometimes things don't happen as planned. Sometimes things end before you even realised they started. Even sometimes the things you love turns into something you miss. People will tell you 'everything happens for a reason.' That you try to believe Fate has something better in-store for you along the way. That struggling through the hard times will lead to something good at the end of the tunnel.

Laura Cunningham is trying to push those very thoughts into her head, trying to force herself to realise that maybe everything happened for the better. But it's hard to think that when your once best friend ditches you on your birthday, you become a prom contestant rundown, when your boy-friend is stolen away, when your parents spur the idea of getting a divorce, when her parents cut off your money, when your forced into a different life style, and when a mysterious new boy at school who acts so 'rebel' is the only one who seems to understand, but Laura's a little to stuck up to notice.

Oh Laura is about to be thrown into a world, that she's just praying to escape.
