Time Can't Heal This by Lauryn_Love

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.

Life is as intense as you want it to be. People in it will bring either tremendous joy or an unbearable pain. She could heal in revenge, hell being her home. But healing through words is the only way of keeping her sanity. Covering the shades of black and white with a thin gray line has never helped anyone before, but painting all those hurtful moments in colors had made the world a better place to live in: resentments under a rug of a smile. Just like a [kodachrome], colorful and vivid in an era filled with sadness. *Mostly fictional with some bases on past, real situations. All of the signs that lead us here! Depressed State of Mind Part 2 It's poetic and symbolic all of the signs that lead us here! In a moment in time that you can only see in the past tense of life. Like destiny it was meant to happen. It's poetic and symbolic how even though I read you that letter trying to save my marriage to him in the hospital it was you that ended up saving me in the end. It's poetic and symbolic how in spite of a world wide pandemic and lock down we always found each other and healed each others sadness. It wasn't my sobriety that I was scared to lose. It was ruining the friendship and not having it mean a thing to you!
