Commander Bishop Fraser misses his cousin.
Finally deciding to head to London to see her, he witnesses an altercation at the airport that he reports to security before getting into a car and leaving.
But the image of the young woman being struck sticks with him, two days later he is surprised to see the woman again this time with Jamison and Emily at the Breitmeyer offices.
Coincidence? Bishop didn't believe in coincidences and asks Jamison about her...
Cressida (Cressy to her friends... both of them) Knight had had it with everyone. Her boss had sacked her after he had assaulted her at the airport. She caught her landlord in her flat for no reason and was worried he was up to something, he kept making suggestive remarks and knocking on her door at all hours but with no job now or references coming she knew she couldn't afford to find somewhere else. She had called Emily for help at the airport and Emily taken her home, finding her landlord once again in the flat she had told Cressy to pack and taken her home with her for her safety.
