Water. Earth. Air. Fire. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace, when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Firenation, and Air Nomads. But all that changed when the Firenation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. 100 years have passed, and the Firenation is nearing victory in the war. 2 years ago, my father and the men of my tribe went to help in the fight aginst the Firenation, leaving my brother to take care of the tribe. As for me, the Firenation caught wind of the fact that I showed signs of being a waterbender when I was 5. That was 10 years ago. I've been living in the Royal Palace in the Firenation capital, Sozin, and traveling with the prince ever since. Some people believe that the Avatar was never born into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle was broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar will return to save us all from the Firelord's wrath.

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. Where your friends become your enemies, and your enemies become your friends 🌊 🌳 🔥 🌪 Uncle had told her stories of the old days, when she cared for stories such as these. The Avatar ; bridge between the mortal and spirit world. For hundreds of years the Avatar kept the balance and peace between worlds, but that all changed when the water tribes of the north and south attacked. Only the Avatar master of the four elements, only he could stop the conquering nation but when those worlds needed him most he vanished. 🌊 🌳 🔥 🌪 After losing Ba Sing Se to Azula, Aang and the others continue to fight an increasingly hopeless battle against the Fire Nation. When Aang is finally able to contact his past lives again, many friends have been lost, and Aang is left so embittered that the past Avatars decide, in order to help Aang regain his sense of compassion, to send him to another world to relive the events leading up to the catastrophe again. Only he finds that this time he is brought to a distorted reality, where he must fight alongside Zuko and Azula for the war-torn Fire Nation Islands, against the savage Water Tribes. Trust will be tested, bonds might be strained, lives will be put on the line. How will Aang handle this reverse world? ______ DISCLAIMER : I do not own nor did I create the avatar universe as well as this fanfic, Credits for creating and writing this amazing fanfic goes to Ogro.
