mimi had not had an easy start in life. After her dad died when mimi was 11 she was left living with her mum who she adores but also her mum's many problems which meant she has had to raise hetself and now her little brother and sister rely on her for stability and care. a lot of responsibility for a 19 year old
through out her troubled upbringing mimi threw herself into dancing. she worked and worked at it and feels sometimes it's all that keeps her going as when she dances she feels alive and free and invincible. All her hard work paid off as for the last 2 years mimi has worked as a professional dancer. performing in music videos and musicals across London
2 months ago mimi auditioned along with other girls from her studio to take part in dancing with the dance group diversity in there upcoming tour. so exciting! however mimi did not realise that this would kick start a chain of events some good, some bad and some magical. but all of which would change her life and her forever...

*Wattys 2018 Winner / Hidden Gems* CREATE YOUR OWN MR. RIGHT Weeks before Valentine's, seventeen-year-old Kate Lapuz goes through her first ever breakup, but soon she stumbles upon a mysterious new app called My Dream Boyfriend, an AI chatbot that has the ability to understand human feelings. Casually, she participates in the app's trial run but finds herself immersed in the empathic conversations with her customizable virtual boyfriend, Ecto. In a society both connected and alienated by technology, Kate suspects an actual secret admirer is behind Ecto. Could it be the work of the techie student council president Dion or has Kate really found her soulmate in bits of computer code? She decides to get to the bottom of the cutting-edge app. Her search for Ecto's real identity leads Kate to prom, where absolute knowledge comes with a very steep price.
