Not A Bad Thing

Maki Zenin is a ruthless jujutsu sorcerer. Having lost the love of her life, she has turned cold to the "concept of love" and doesn't encourage feelings. She sleeps around and when morning comes, she forgets the name of the girl she slept with.

Niji Gushiken is the dictionary definition of a shy girl, compliant with society's expectations of her. The only thing unconventional about her is that she's a size 16 woman, whose goal in life is to become the prima ballerina of Tokyo Ballet Academy. But everyone keeps telling her, "ballet is not for girls like you."

Heartbroken and miserable in their own lives, Maki and Niji find their way to each other and bring light and love to each other's life. College life and sexcapades aside, their lives are turned upside down by cursed spirits, fatphobic ballet instructors, and homophobic family members. But love somehow still perseveres. Maybe it's something worth believing in after all.
