Her main stop is the Hoia Forest, which has legends of ghosts and disappearances, and she becomes trapped. Once she can escape, she realizes she is no longer in her time.
It is 1460 in Wallachia, a gruesome time of blood, torture, and war. Angelina is forcibly taken to none other than Vlad Tepes Dracul, the bloodthirsty Voivode of Wallachia. Angelina refuses to be tamed but realizes Vlad's brutality and his era. Will she be able to find a way back to her era, or will she succumb to Vlad's blood lust for her?
