On her 21st birthday, Lexa decides to celebrate at a club with her best friend Nicole. She meets someone who turns out to be anything but human and is now forced to live life like he does. Her peaceful existence quickly changes into a life filled with fear, danger and love as she tries to adapt to her new life as a vampire. And the biggest challenge of all, is to not fall for the man who turned her.
