"I'll get over him- it- what happened. Okay? He- it was just a dumb robot and I'll- I'll just make a new one, I guess."

"I don't believe that he was any kind of 'dumb robot'." Donnie watches the tea ripple as his hands shake and wishes Splinter wouldn't use those pronouns. "He seemed pretty special to me."

If Splinter thought that gentle lies were the way to cheer him up, he was far down the road of wrong. Donnie knew the truth, and he accepted it. His brothers were right all along. Metalhead was a robot, a thing to be disposed of and replaced, an invention, an it.

Anyone who pretends otherwise is just deluding themselves.

"It served it's purpose." Donnie hates the words and the truth they hold. "Leo was right. Metalhead was just a danger, a nuisance, and in the end, it only did what it was programed too."

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
