A dokkaebi, or goblin, lives in the city of Kangcho and protects it from both criminals and demons. His life is upended when a gumiho he left for dead centuries ago, Cho Miyoung, comes to the city in search of a better life. Both are caught up in a mass revival of the dead, all of them seeking people's souls to use in creation of the 'Soul Gems'. The conflict grows ever more complex as the dokkaebi and gumiho do their best to break free of their past and create a future for themselves. Takes place in the world of the Osiris Organization, created by MartinIsSus Written by rexgobye25

Started: March 28th, 2024 Status: Complete (April 5th, 2025) A kumiho (or gumiho) is a creature that appears in the folktales on East Asia and legends of Korea. It can freely transform into a beautiful woman (or man) often set out to seduce men (and/or women) to eat their liver or heart. Minho was one of these creatures, he roamed the night in search for food often. Usually he took his humanoid form that wasn't yet complete so his ears and nine tails could be seen. During one dark night, Minho is found wounded in the forest when a human boy finds him and is determined to help him, despite Minho being a man-eating fox spirit. Then, the God forbidden love story begins. A man-eating kumiho and kind-hearted human falling in love with one another, what could possibly go wrong? . . .
