Ben, Alex, and Charlie are about to start their day, finally becoming pokemon trainers. But what they don't know is their past. Or more like their other lives. 50 years after the rip in space time, the effects still live with them. Because they helped start it.

Humans and Pokémon are colonising Mars, but good people aren't the only ones with their eyes on this new world. The first spaceflight of the Ares program launched 49 years ago. So far, the red planet hasn't been kind. Without spacesuits, few Pokémon can survive outside the bubble that protects the first town, Ironville. Humans certainly can't. Most of its 350,000 residents say they love it there, but jokes about the 'Mars madness' hide a sinister reality for those who disagree. Despite that, more people and Pokémon keep coming. If Volo and Horace are on Mars, that means the people who kidnapped them also are. They may well have found fellow villains Team Genesis, who also disappeared in search of Mars many years ago... and then there are the members of the criminal syndicates Cipher and Team Plasma who somehow made it onto the ship. His parents came to realise that the empire was in the wrong for invading planets and killing off the residents that resisted knowing if they were discovered on how they felt that they would be executed along with their unborn child which they had grown to care more so than they did to admit realising the danger they faked their death and fled from the empire arriving at deserted planet filled with life it was there where Alex was born As the years went on the family enjoyed their peaceful life. Alex started to show development of his powers and despite the fact that his parents didn't want him to be a soldier, they knew that he needed to be trained and how to use his powers properly knowing that if he didn't, he would end up hurting someone either accidental or on purpose so they went against their empire's beliefs and they taught him core beliefs that went against the code of the empire about how to respect other peoples culture and respect life in general and do not take another life lightly It was then that they discovered that Alexander was a lot stronger than than other viltrumite of his age group however they didn't have time to to understand the full differences between them and their son. The Empire had found them fearing the worst. The parents fought back against their former allies as their son fled the planet as far away as he could... Over 1000 years had passed and Alexander was all alone in the universe he still believed in the core concepts that his parents taught him and tried his best to help the universe whatever way he could he intended on staying out of the Empire's way continuously running from them that was until he came to a planet of mud and water called... Earth were a new adventure that would change his life forever was about to begin

Life on Earth probably began with complex, virus-like molecules that over billions of years evolved cells and the ability to split carbon dioxide and water (H2O). The poisonous waste product, oxygen, released into the atmosphere, probably caused the first mass extinctions on Earth. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved the health, education, and longevity of almost everyone. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. But as Amethio slowly discovers things about his past he was never intended to find he begins to question everything. Note!! This story will make heaps more sense if you have watched up to episode 105 of Pokemon Horizons! And will also avoid you getting spoilers. Also as this fic is set after 105, this means no events from 106 and beyond will be canon!!
