Being the fraternal twin of one Finn Hudson is harder than people would ever think. He's the golden boy, the stereotypical American small town high school quarterback. He has the girl, the friends, the looks and charm, and the popularity. Finn Hudson has it all. Foster is the complete opposite of her brother. She's socially awkward, single, selective of friends, and one a thin line balancing between a loser or being popular as the girls hockey captain.

She believes she's the Broken Hudson. Anxiety, depression, self hate nearly control her mind; born into a body she hates, doesn't completely understand and having attraction to girls is just the tip of the iceberg that is Foster's mind. Music is the Hudson's escape along with skateboarding and playing hockey. When Foster is on the ice it's the one time she feels like she belongs.

As sophomore year beginnings Foster decides to step up and start the journey of self discovery. With the help of the most unexpected best friend in her corner, Foster has hope for the first time. The journey won't be smooth; bullies, high school hierarchy, relationships being tested, hitting rock bottom before the light, and finding unconditional love from someone she never expected.
