Alice in Wonderland Impossible Thoughts.
This is a collection of poems with the construction of "six lines . " They were written daily during my summer of 2012/13 ( southern hemisphere ) when I was first participating on wattpad as a regular. I posted six poems everyday with a crazy challenge of writing a ridicules number of poems over a short period of time. All the poems are inspired by the Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland one of the first books I read as a young person, in fact as a teen. Before the age of 12 years my reading skills where non-existent because of learning difficulties, so when I finally did read a whole book right through Alice was it. So Alice hold's a special place in my heart and soul because of this fact. I hope you enjoy the reading of this failed collection as I do not think I have actually finished this challenge. Shakespeare's 154 Sonnets (Completed )
Shakespeare's Sonnets is the title of a collection of 154 sonnets by William Shakespeare, which covers themes such as the passage of time, love, beauty and mortality. The first 126 sonnets are addressed to a young man; the last 28 to a woman. The sonnets are almost all constructed from three quatrains, which are four-line stanzas, and a final couplet composed in iambic pentameter. This is also the meter used extensively in Shakespeare's plays. The rhyme scheme is abab cdcd efef gg. Sonnets using this scheme are known as Shakespearean sonnets. Often, the beginning of the third quatrain marks the volta ("turn"), or the line in which the mood of the poem shifts, and the poet expresses a revelation or epiphany.Complete
