After his witnessing her abuse their daughter, Thomas's ex-wife, Jeanne, was arrested and divorced. Now a single parent, Thomas is just about ready to give up his job to raise Trudy, when he has a fateful encounter with a kind hearted woman during a trip to the grocery store. Will it all work out? Or will it fail.
This will also be a Thomady AU as usual, so if you don't like Thomas eventually taking Lady as his new wife in this one, then find something else to read.
