Earth is broken from the Thousand Years war with the creatures of the deep. Humans are trying to acclimate to a new life outside warring and destruction. Blessed with power from the gods to use to subdue their enemies, now that they are all vanquished, man has only himself to destroy. The need for keepers of peace and tranquility is needed. The Academy is created, where the second generation will be trained to right the mistakes of the first generation (war generation).
