When a pack of strong and wise cats moves into the Two-leg place, led by a charismatic and powerful leader, Heather can't help but be inspired to join in on the action. They're strong, brave, and do everything they can to help cats just like her. But when suspicion is raised and she discovers the harrowing truth about their true goals, she has no choice but to leave. Fleeing to the forest, she meets a small group of cats who help teach her the ropes of surviving outside of her two-leg nest. She believed she was safe there, but as more trouble arises things become more complicated. The lives of the cats she loves are in danger, the Pack is threatening other groups in the territories, and Heather realizes quickly that no matter where she goes she is always in danger. Will she continue to run or will she turn and fight? Can this great force be stopped? Can she put her life in the paws of cats she just met, and in turn, can they trust her? Or was she doomed to fail from the beginning?
