They were supposed to stay as friends. Eddie Munson never felt the same way about Carmen Cruz. He wasn't supposed to fall for her. And Carmen wasn't supposed to fall for him. It was killing her, slowly. In another life, maybe they were meant to be.

"Please, have you seen Eddie," she pleaded as tears welled in her eyes, "my Eddie? Have you seen him?"

(Dis)Obedient Princess - (y/n) Hopper & Eddie Munson Story *Rewrite* by batsnbubblegumx
12 parts Ongoing Mature
* Rewrite - the last upload was getting lost in the old * (Y/N) Hopper is the 19-year-old daughter of Hawkins infamous police chief Jim Hopper. Always the apple of his eye, the pair became inseparable, following the passing of their beloved Sara resulting in Diane Hopper abandoning the pair, never to be seen or heard from again. The pair became totally dependent on one another, often blurring the boundaries between parent/child & best friends. Even after Hopper took in young El & joined families with Joyce, (Y/N) remained at the centre of his universe - his whole heart & soul. Hopper held his daughter in high regard, treating her like she was a princess & always wanted what was best for her - even if she didn't agree with him. After years of being the model obedient daughter, (Y/N) longed to be just like everybody else in school but would struggle to find anybody willing to treat her as anything other than the police chiefs daughter at fear of the wrath of her terrifying father. By 19 her toxic rebellion had taken over. Drinking, parties & late nights became the new normal & her obsession with cutting class to smoke on school grounds, found her held back in school & forced to repeat her senior year. She'd even found herself her dream boyfriend... Billy Hargrove. He was everything she ever wanted... until he wasn't. Hawkins saw Billy as the handsome gentleman he'd made himself out to be & only Hopper & Eddie Munson knew what he was really like. He was possessive & controlling & just a total jerk. But Eddie could only standby & watch as his childhood best friend was lost to Billy Hargrove. Eddie loved her, more than a friend should but there was nothing he could do about it... right? - TW - Smut, smoking, drinking, swearing, weed, fighting (verbal & physical), abuse, blurred consent Only the season 1 & 2 ST stuff happened - all are alive. CW: Smut/Language/Supernatural. **Summer, 1986. Eddie Munson isn't sure if graduating or surviving interdimensional monsters is the bigger miracle. With a semi-cleared name and a legal job, he's trying his best not to run these days when danger looms. Eddie continues life as normal with his new Party, ignoring the demons that follow him home. Phoenix Deloria just needs a roommate to keep her apartment. Allowing an old high school acquaintance into her life pulls them both into a side quest and digs up ghosts of past and present. In retrospect, maybe striking up a "No Strings Attached" thing on top of that was a bad idea.
