Tiana Waters and Jason Cooke were childhood friends and at one point a couple, that is until after college. Tiana wanted to study abroad in France, but Jason wanted her there in California with him. when she decided to leave anyways, Jason was heartbroken. Now six years later, Tiana is a successful Fashion Designer in France, Jason is a very successful business man, he's also engaged. When the two are reunited old feelings and broken promises resurfaces and it's up to Jason to decide between his fiancee and his first love. Who will he choose?

Kendall Clark is at the top of her game. She's one of the best black female Veterinarians in Los Angeles, California and everybody loves her. She's sweet, independent and very respectful. Her family raised her to love and treat everyone how she would want to be treated and she carried that value on through life. One night while at a Christmas party with her best friend Danielle, she meets Shane McCarthy. Shane is what people call "intimidating". The women want him and the men envy him. His father is one of the most powerful CEO's in the country and Shane is next in line to take the position. The only problem is that Shane's family doesn't associate with blacks or any other race for that matter; so when Shane starts to feel butterflies around Kendall will it jeopardize his position as CEO or will he drop everything to try Something Brand New?
