Love comes differently for everyone. Some never even noticed it, and some knew exactly the moment they met eyes.
As for Midnight, he truly dreamt of a love where he feel the safest to express himself. He longs to be in love like how it feels to face a mirror, truly just you. He believes that his ex-lover, Hoshino Yuma, was the one for him.
He feels the most like himself whenever they are together, however, a love couldn't truly stay untouched. And yet no matter how great a love can be, once handled wrong, it'll eventually break apart.
Being with someone in the same gender is not accepted so easily, they were both aware of that. Despite that, they wanted to prove those people wrong, so badly that in the process of doing so, they no longer know where the path they took led them.
What was once a home for Midnight, became a cage. Obsession, possession, manipulation soon took over their relationship. Miko, no longer finding what he believes is the real purpose of love, decided to ran away and eventually, to fully escape Yuma's influence, he entered a transactional relationship with a friend's sister, Eirian. She, who also struggles with finding a potential partner despite her age, agreed to the plan.
As Midnight and Eirian continue their pretend relationship, the situation with Yuma became more uncontrollable. Miko must decide if he truly wanted to break free from Yuma or does he only want for him to return, or did he only see Eirian as a perfect actress for the role of being his pretend girlfriend, or was there more to that? And whether love is worth the fight, even when it turns dark and complicated, will the three of them ever found out?
