Alric had a hard but fulfilling life, she had achieved her goals and dreams through her intelligence and hard work.

She wasn't the type of person who would do something spontaneously, being raised in an orphanage and having to pave her own way out of that hellish place she had to plan everything from the very beginning to its end.

Maybe it was those kids crying eyes? or was it that old man trying to shield her from that shooter? 

"I wonder if this is how it felt like to be protected?" she thought as she watch the old man usher her behind him.

It was then a spur-of-the-moment idea came to her, she had nothing to lose and was tired of life but these people had families to go home to. So she did the most idiotic thing.

She jumped at the shooter to fight him tooth and nail to get the gun out of his hand, what she didn't expect was for the shooter to be trigger-happy. That gave the person behind the shooter to get him in a chokehold and the old man to snatch the gun.

She laughed as she loses blood, God, she was a genius how did she end up being an idiot in this kind of situation?
