" I'm not like everyone else", He said to her, pushing both her hands off his helmet. It wasn't the first time she tried knowing his identity. Surely, it wouldn't be the last. "i know that. And I'm not asking you to change", She replied reaching for the helmet again.
He couldn't understand her obsession with him. from the day he had saved her till now, she never for once doubted his golden heart. and her adamance made his surety waver everytime.
"I'm evil. I have no fear of death, pain and i am emotionless. You have no chance with me", He insisted, stepping away from her. He knew how hurtful his words sounded, but he made no move to retrieve them. But within her beautiful brown eyes glistened hope like never before.
"then I'd rather die trying with you than to be with anyone else", she replied walking to him once again. This time, he made no effort to move away from her touch. He let her take off his mask, revealing whom he truly was.

She move her head hysterically and tried to free herself but instead, she get more pain when he tightened his hold on her and dig his fingers on her waist. Then what will you do when I'll punish you for your betrayal?" The threat hidden in his words causes a shiver down her spine and she feels intimidated. The rooftop scene played in slow motion in her eyes. Her boyfriend's hands wrapped around her best friend, their lips locked, their laughter echoing in the crisp morning air. Her heart didn't just break it turned to dust. The voices in her head chuckled darkly, whispering like shadows: "If you had chosen him... you wouldn't be in pain. He would never betray you.
