" I'm not like everyone else", He said to her, pushing both her hands off his helmet. It wasn't the first time she tried knowing his identity. Surely, it wouldn't be the last. "i know that. And I'm not asking you to change", She replied reaching for the helmet again.
He couldn't understand her obsession with him. from the day he had saved her till now, she never for once doubted his golden heart. and her adamance made his surety waver everytime.
"I'm evil. I have no fear of death, pain and i am emotionless. You have no chance with me", He insisted, stepping away from her. He knew how hurtful his words sounded, but he made no move to retrieve them. But within her beautiful brown eyes glistened hope like never before.
"then I'd rather die trying with you than to be with anyone else", she replied walking to him once again. This time, he made no effort to move away from her touch. He let her take off his mask, revealing whom he truly was.
"you have the most beautiful eyes... Loco", she whimpered, starring into those Hazel-blue eyes, mesmerized by his unparalleled beauty. Loco starred back at her. He didn't notice time fly by, and only wished to be here, with his beloved.

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.Complete

"No," I drawled out sarcastically, ignoring the intensity of his eyes as they bore into my own, "I just stand on the edge of train platforms at midnight because I feel like it." Seeing the stranger tense, I stepped away from the edge, feeling his hand let go of mine as I picked up my bag before moving to sit down on one of the platform benches. Letting out an evident sigh of relief, he sat down after tentative movements towards me, and I could feel his intense gaze raking across my features. His eyes never left me, I was sure of it, with every step both he and I had taken. "Are you okay?" He had asked warily, apparent apprehension in his deep voice while he spoke, "Do you want to talk about it?" "What's there to talk about?" I threw his question back at him, watching him study me for a few critical moments before his potent gaze switched to our surroundings. "I did just watch you nearly kill yourself; that might be a place to start?" ••• She didn't expect for a complete stranger to stop her milliseconds away from committing suicide. She didn't expect him to be so kindhearted and patient. He didn't expect to stop her from jumping in front of a train the first time they met. He whispered in her ears, his breaths touching her neck. The rooftop scene played in slow motion in her eyes. Her boyfriend's hands wrapped around her best friend, their lips locked, their laughter echoing in the crisp morning air. Her heart didn't just break it turned to dust. The voices in her head chuckled darkly, whispering like shadows: "If you had chosen him... you wouldn't be in pain. He would never betray you. He has been watching, waiting... a red flag to the world, but to you... a green light." She staggered back, her breath trembling. "Who... who are you?" she whispered, pressing her hands to her ears. "We are your choices. Your paths. And the gangster who scares everyone? He would rather die than see you cry." The voices faded, but their words rooted in her chest. The next day in class, she could barely focus. Everyone knew her as the quiet girl who never caused trouble, but now her world tilted sideways. When she glanced at the back corner, she caught him staring Raven, the school's infamous gangster. He leaned against his chair lazily, tattoos peeking from under his sleeve, but his eyes those sharp, storm colored eyes softened the moment they met hers. She quickly looked away, cheeks burning. At lunch, she found her seat empty. Her supposed best friend didn't sit beside her anymore. Her ex avoided her completely, as if she was the one at fault. She tried to eat, but her throat closed up. Then a tray slammed down across from her. "You're not eating," Raven muttered, sitting down uninvited. Her eyes widened. "Why are you-" "Because you look like hell," he cut in. "And because I told myself if I ever see you cry over someone who isn't me, I'll make them regret it." Her stomach knotted. Was he joking? Threatening? Or... protecting?
