They say a chat with a stranger is dangerous. Our parents warned us, didn't they?

But what if, sometimes, the connection we desperately seek in those we know, we unexpectedly find with a stranger?

One such evening, by the beach, two strangers-Kiana Daaruwala and Avyaan Alwani-met.

Two people who knew everything about each other yet knew nothing at all.

Strange, isn't it?

I felt him kneeling beside me, his presence a tangible warmth in the cold room. I wasn't about to give up this little battle , my mind thinking of a comeback, a jolt of surprise ran through me.(Hairat) It was Kabir, his full attention focused on the clasp of my Kamarbandh , his lips brushing against my skin. A strange mix of annoyance and a blush that felt like fire crept up my cheeks. With a practiced flick of his fingers, the clasp popped open, a tiny victory in this unexpected war we'd started. But I wasn't ready to surrender yet. A mischievous glint sparked in my eyes. It was time for sweet revenge I playfully tapped his thigh with my toe "Remove the anklet (payal) as well." as his punishment.( Saza ) A glint of amusement lit his eyes as he readily agreed. With practiced ease, he helped me remove the payal, the tinkling of the anklet bells a melody in the tense silence. As the last jingle faded, I felt a soft brush against the arch of my foot. He had planted a secret kiss there, a sweet surrender (Kurbaan) hidden in plain sight. A shiver danced down my spine, a delightful mix of surprise and something more. 60 parts Complete Mature
Highest ranking: #9 Romance & #4 in General Fiction!!! WARNING: I wrote this book when I was 17 so there is a ton of grammatical errors so please read at your own risk! *** Marriage is a sacred union tying two people that love each other, together. It brings happiness and blessings. Or that's what it should be. The marriage between traditional Karishma Varghese and the cold-hearted Jai Agarwal was anything but. Horrible circumstances force these two strangers together. Now bound by law, they struggle with feelings of hate in what they think is a loveless marriage, both holding deep, dark secrets, capable of ruining everything. Those very secrets and differences, however, could be what brings these two together in the end. ❧ "Just because we're legally bound together, doesn't mean I love you." He leaned down, spitting out the next words menacingly. "And I never will." I tried to hold back the tears as his amber eyes blazed with anger. "O-okay." "Now, stay out of my fucking personal life or I won't hesitate to ruin yours." As he left, I broke down. The truth was, I never thought that someone could hate me so much that they'd look at me like they wanted to kill me. Especially not if that someone was supposed to be my husband. ❧ Credit to @IamSumayya for making this absolutely gorgeous cover! Thank you so much for taking your time to make it! ❤️ PS. Highly unedited. Don't read if you're gonna point out every single mistake.
