"Yeah, sure. Eddie she runs with Tiffany Frasier, I don't think she will even breathe our air let alone speak to us." Gareth explained half heartedly.
I shook my head, looking back into the corner of Hallway A and B.
"Nah, that's not a Tiffany Frasier girl," I began, looking back at Gareth and Dustin. "That's a lost sheep...and we're gonna help find her."

New girl. New town. New crowd. Veronica is immediately drawn into the popular group as she begins her time at Hawkins High, but something doesn't feel right. Cheerleading and basketball isn't all it seems to be once Veronica meets 'The Freaks' ...but more specifically, when she meets Eddie Munson. It's not too easy for Veronica to get away from that cookie cutter life. In order to do so, she starts secretly hanging out with Eddie Munson, and a secret relationship begins to bud.
Things get rocky when Veronica's Aunt forces her to get a job at the local Family Video as punishment for sneaking out with Eddie. She meets Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley, which causes immense jealousy between relationships...but none of that matters once a frantic Eddie crawls through her window one night, stuttering his words and fear flooding his eyes. He then reveals a terrible truth to Veronica that not only changes her perspective of Hawkins completely, but draws her into a world of monsters and death that had been right below her feet all along.
This story is based in the time of season 4, but not everything from season 4 will apply.

Book 1. *First couple chapters of Book 2 out now.* Welcome to Hawkins. Your life changes when Robin, your only friend, helps get you out of a bad situation. She and Steve quickly become your best friends after you move in with your cousin, Dustin. The long haired, ever himself, fellow student and good friend of Dustin, catches your eye. Navigating life isn't as easy as you'd hope but your friends and the so called 'freak' you've fallen for help. Trigger warnings for abuse/child abuse. Drug & alcohol use. Strong language. Sex/sexual acts. Self-harm/talk of suicide. Assault. There are not warnings at the beginnings of chapters. Some themes are rather dark and may be triggering - hence the warnings here. POV story, Y/N format. Slow burn, kinda. Heavy relationship focus leading up to the events in season 4. Not everything will fit with the show but it's a fiction anyway so *shrug* All Stranger Things characters obviously belong to the incredible Duffer Brothers. First story/book, whatever you want to call it, I've ever written. Typing this all up on my phone so please forgive me if the format is weird, I don't know how it varies across devices. This has turned out much more dramatic than I set out for. It's been fun to write though and a little therapeutic as quite a bit of the events stem from my own life. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore.
