There are three wolf packs: RedCliff, BlackRaven, and BlueCoast. All of their territories are separate from each other. RedCliff was given the inside of the base of the mountain (which is called Mt. RedCliff), as well as a small part of the forest to hunt. BlueCoast claimed the oceanside, and a part of the forest. BlackRaven got the rest of the forest, besides the bits that BlueCoast and RedCliff wanted for hunting. Not one of the packs had more territory than the other. None of the packs were allies either, which is probably why they tried to be as far away from each other as possible. As you go along with Trevis and Kade, a few of the main characters in the story for the RedCliff pack, you will also be introduced to Corrie, and his brother Jarson (two cats) who are refugees and have taken shelter with a wolf named Phoenix.
