Have you ever felt like you don't matter? That if you disappeared no one would care or even notice that you're not there? That if you don't pretend to be happy everyone you consider your friend would leave you alone? Welcome to the life of Addison Cooper. Addison is a senior in high school and she doesn't know why her existing matters to those around her. Whenever she wakes up, she only thinks negatively and can't think of a single reason to live. Every day she is bullied by everyone in the school and is called names by those who aren't her friends. One day a new student, James, stands up for her in front of everyone while she was touring the group of new students. He will do anything to see that smile of hers, but just how far will he go to see her genuine smile...?
TW: There are some parts that will have self-harming, negative thoughts, suicidal thoughts, and abuse (physically and mentally) I will make sure to put a warning at the beginning of the chapter if there is a TW.
