When Cecily meets seven strange kids who claim to be half human and half god on her vacation, her world is turned upside down. As it turns out, she's actually one of them, so she goes with them to some sort of Camp in Manhattan for people like them.
When she arrives, though, there are problems such as her being immediately being sent on a quest, her shocking parentage, a crush on a heartbroken hero, and a new Great Prophecy that seems to have something to do with her.
As an entire subspecies of human faces civil war and what could be their extinction, Cecily finds herself at the center of it all, trying to keep herself and everyone she can alive.
I do not own the Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus series or characters. This book and any following it divert from the canon timeline somewhat. Please don't steal my idea!

Thirteen girls had lived a pretty crazy life, which just got even crazy. Two people named Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase come to pick them up, claiming they are some kind of demigod. Soon they figure out that life is a lot harder than they thought it was. Monsters are crawling all over the world, waiting to feast on their flesh. They are taken to Camp Half-Blood, a safe haven for demigods, and taught how to fight...for about twenty seconds, then everything starts to turn upside down. Satyrs from all over the country have been captured and it's their siblings job to rescue them. Their siblings are given a prophecy, only to later realize that the prophecy wasn't really meant for them in the first place. The eight were the captured, not the satyrs, and now it's the thirteen demigods job to rescue their siblings from the torture that awaits them. Rachel's Prophecy of Eight has begun after three new demigods have been picked up across the country. The new campers, and a slightly less newer one, must go on a quest to rescue the queen of the heavens. When they return, they realize their issue is bigger than they thought. They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea. But when Rachel Dare has a fainting fit and reveals a prophecy that shatters the allusion that they'll have even a sort of normal life. Percy is yet again thrown into a quest that is going to take all of his powerful friends to accomplish. But the person he needs most will have to be left behind. Violet didn't ask for this. After the great fight with Gaea, he was still the seventh wheel. He was starting to think that Piper's mom (Aphrodite) cursed him. No one dared to date the 'hot' guy who saved the world. But the arrival of Steph was the final straw. Steph destroyed their relationship even before it started. But he couldn't shake the feelings out. But then again maybe it's Aphrodite messing with his feelings.
