Wei Ying and a certain someone had a bit of an argument which caused them not to talk for a while. Wei Ying Ying really misses them and wishes they could talk at least one more time.
This is a Oneshot I made based off the song: "It's Raining, It's Pouring" by Anson Seabra.
-P.S. The cover is by my friend(though I did some slight editing). They didn't finish it but that's ok. 10/10 love them for drawing this for me.

It starts like this. A hand clutching at his own, warm and loving, as someone ruffles his hair. "Be good, A-Ying." His mother presses a kiss to his forehead, giving him a smile that seemed to light up the world. "We'll be back soon." And those words morph into the hurt that comes with being a forgotten one, with only broken promises as his company. It is like the chill that comes from losing a golden core, that is almost reminiscent to the coldest of winters in the streets of Yiling, and it is like the hunger in his gut, insaitable, feral, a wild fire that cannot be curbed. He can only watch, time after again, as he loses those he loves. And he wonders if this is the price for going down a heretic path, for his arrogance and naivety. ("you bring ruin to everyone you love.")
