A series of poetry from different times in my life . Needs editing . Some words may be misplaced . But I found this app and wondered if anyone else has ever felt these feelings . These are all letters to myself in a way .

I shrunk back into my seat as his head snapped towards me. He looked like his head was going to fall off. His eyes were blazing with rage. His face was set into an icy glare. His fists that rested on the table were clenched so hard his knuckles were white. As he stood from his chair so did I. I felt like the prey to the biggest predator in the jungle. I took two steps back for every stride he took towards me. I gulped again before shaking me head. "She's just joking Ace." my voice quivered as I took another two steps back. "How do I know that?" he sneered down at me, his body towering over me. As I went to take another step backwards, my back made contact with the wall behind me. Well great. Now I'm cornered. This is just typical. ............................................................. One girl moves to the big apple after her family disintegrates around her. All she has left is her one brother. Well, that's what she thought. She attends college like a normal girl and even gains a job on the side with someone who just so happens to be her neighbor. Even though I'm a mess and I still don't think I'm good enough for him, I want to date him. I haven't managed to scare him off with my panic attacks, mood swings and no touching rules so I don't think that if I tell him about what happened that night he will stop showing interest. ****** Shy, broken Chase wonders if he'll ever be able to love and trust again, if he'll ever get over the trauma of what happened, if he'll ever be happy again. For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. For the hearts that would ache while loneliness was the only company. For every moment of pain and solitude in this world that feels too cruel for such young and frail minds.Complete

Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. "Let me go!" I screeched as he dragged me out of the house. And quickly removed his hand from my hair to my arm. "Mom! Dad!" I screamed right before they shut the front door so they couldn't see me. I looked over and saw my sister on the ground crying and my brother being held back by two of the men in black. Tears streaming down his face. Derek stopped moving in defeat knowing that he wasn't going to get past all of the men in black. The men let him go and he sat on the ground next to my sister. Somehow I slipped out of the mans grip.
