Skye thought starting over would be easier, a new life would mean new school new friends, and new chances. New chances and dreams that had gotten taken away from her in the past. 
Then there is Elliot, someone that has basically always stayed under the radar, which was great, he was happy not to be too involved with everyone, he didn't have an easy life and had a lot of worries and struggles. But when Skye came around it seemed that he would like to be noticed, in fact, he'd like to be noticed by her. 
Just that wasn't so easy when there was someone in the way.
