The rains on the outskirts of the city have been acidic for years, strong enough to burn through plastic, skin, and wood. At the end of the world, buildings collapse, resources grow scarce, and people grow paranoid. Storms grow stronger, waters grow higher, and the state grows crueler.
Among this social unrest, a transmasc herb-worker named Jaye cultivates a small garden inside of a greenhouse. They maintain a supply of healing plants to keep themself and their community safe. Their friends, lovers, and neighbors trade and create essential items--candles, materials, clothes, food--for survival among themselves. At the end of the world, all that we have is each other.
