Bakugo and izuku were best of friends before the age of 4 the normal age where a quirk would be developed. when izuku went to the quirk doctor he didn't get a quirk bakugo started to bully izuku as izuku wanted to be a hero without a quirk. This went on till the ending of middle school when bakugou told deku to take a swandive off the roof this broke izuku he liked bakugo and hoped for him to change but after hearing those words izuku gave up on both his love for bakugo and their friendship. read to find out the rest :)

Like Friends Do
Midoriya and Todoroki are similar in the sense that neither of them had real "friends" growing up.
