“Whenever you get bored, that’s just your brain telling you to start a new project.”

That’s what Abby’s mother always told her and since starting her sophomore year at Pine University Abby has been nothing but bored. When Abby begins to think that college might not be the “great adventure” everyone kept promising it would be her roommate invites her to try a tea shop on the other side of town. Burns and Herbals is full of eccentric people Abby wouldn't normally associate with.
From the dread-locked bookkeeper to the pink-haired barista it was the last place she ever thought she’d hang out. Abby was raised to care about what other people thought; always look
perfect, act perfect, and associate with other perfects.
And then Abby meets Jensen. Blue-haired, heavily tattooed, exact-opposite-of-perfect Jensen. There’s an immediate spark between the two. The only problem is Jade, she wants to keep Abby as far from Jensen as possible.
Abby becomes determined with finding out what Jensen’s hiding behind his constant smirk and sarcasm and why Jade is determined to keep it hidden.

Nothing a new project couldn't fix.
