Karkat Vantas has been living on Alternia for all his life, constantly anxious about when, and if everyone will find out about his blood.
One night he finds himself in a situation and makes a risky decision, that weighs on his mind and his relationships with friends.
And the next night, four aliens stare him right in the face when he finds them in the forest nearby, creating even more grief for the troll.
