Polar opposites sharing bunk beds and possibly falling in love in the process. Alex would not believe it in a billion years. ***** Alex is an only child, a force of nature, and an academic machine. At least, she likes to focus on those aspects of her life. At night she dwells on past heartbreak, stalks her dad's perfect mistress, and powers through panic attacks. It's a nice little bubble she's constructed, and only one person is strong enough to trespass it. It wasn't Jonathan's intention to land up in the house of the girl who most despises him, much less to take up a bunk bed in her room, but there's not much of a choice at hand. His father kicked him out, his mother turned his back on him, and his life turned on its head in an instant. After all, it's hard to keep everything the same when you suddenly have a roommate. A plethora of movie nights, heated arguments and surprising reveals later, neither of them know what to believe anymore. How can you hate the only person who can truly give you peace? Alex may be excellent at climbing the ladder that separates her from her lovely predicament, but she may not be ready for the fall that comes next. #tsc22

The House

A charming roommate. A hopeless crush. A coming-of-age MM romance full of humor, heart, and heat. Liam // I didn't plan on falling for my roommate. I just wanted to survive college without embarrassing myself in front of Morgan-who, for the record, is everything I'm not. He's confident, charming, and somehow even looks good doing laundry. I keep telling myself it's just a crush, that the late-night talks and inside jokes don't mean anything. But every time he smiles at me, it feels less like a phase and more like falling. He's completely out of my depth. Morgan // Liam's chaos shouldn't be my problem, but somehow, it's become my favorite part of the day. He's awkward, loud, and way too easy to care about. I've had flings before, sure, but nothing that's ever felt like this-like coming home to someone who actually sees me. The rules were simple: don't get attached. But with Liam, the line between friendship and something real keeps blurring, and I'm not sure I want to stop it anymore. 📖 Part of The House Collection The House is part of The House Collection, a series of interconnected queer romances about messy friendships, found family, and falling in love when you least expect it.
